Jake still spits up a little most mornings, but bounces right back. He is eating & playing and loves his pet door.

Jake has been spitting up in the early morning every day for a few days now.

Friday, 4/22/11

Jake spit up a tiny bit in the middle of the night. He had the pet door down now. He was going in & out during the night and all day today.

Thursday, 4/21/11

Jake spit up another hairball this morning. I've been trying to get him to use his new door, but he will only do it if I hold the flap open. He gets frusturated & pissy when he tries to come in. Twice after I let him back in, he hissed at me. I hope he learns how to use it soon.

When I came home from work, he was out on the patio, but couldn't figure out how to get back in. Same thing happened a few more times. He doesn't understand that you get back in the same way you get out. Finally, after some coaxing, he came in on his own!

Wednesday, 4/20/11

Jake spit up a tiny bit this morning-it turned out to be a small hairball. He's still doing well-eating a normal amount and showing interest in his toys. This evening, I bought him a pet door so he can go out on the patio whenever he wants. He doesn't understand how to push the flap with his body. I had to push it out for him in order for him to use it. Hopefully he'll get it soon, so he can enjoy himself .

Sunday, 4/17/11

Jake spit up this morning, but bounced right back. He is doing amazing. He loves to play and is more lively than I've seen him in a year. When I look at him, I think he is all better, but then have to remind myself that he is still sick. 

Wednesday, 4/13/11

Today was the first day since Jake's diagnosis, that I went out after work. He didn't need his prednisone today. I got home around 8:30pm and he was so happy to see me. He was so affectionate. He had spit up in the dining room, but seemed to be feeling ok. 

Tuesday, 4/12/11

This morning, Jake was in a playful mood. I was throwing his fuzzy balls and he was chasing them and carrying them around in his mouth. I noticed yesterday that the fur around his paw where they shaved him back in Dec. is almost all grown back. I didn't think it was going to come back.

Monday, 4/11/11

Jake is still doing the same-eating well and continues to show interest in his toys. He still gets snippy with me, but overall is affectionate. He did spit up a little this morning.

Friday, 4/8/11

Jake spit up a bit early this morning. When I went back to bed, he climbed on my back and slept for about 1/2 hr. I could hear him rumbling inside.

Thursday, 4/7/11

Jake is still doing well. Tonight, he did bite me just before I went to bed. A bit later when I got into bed, he jumped up and planted one of his toys in front of me and then licked me-I guess a peace offering. It was cute.

Tuesday, 4/5/11

Jake had thrown up during the day, but seems to be feeling well. He's still eating & drinking.

Monday, 4/4/11

Jake is still doing well. He LOVES to carry his toy balls from room to room-it's hysterical. He's still eating well. 

Saturday, 4/2/11

Jake was very into his toys today. This morning, he was walking back & forth with the balls in his mouth. Tonight, he brought them into the bed, one by one. So cute!

Friday, 4/1/11

Jake spit up a bit this morning. When I got home from work, he had thrown up a bit (more than spit up, but not full-blown) by his litter box. Eating a bit slower, but still finishing it all.
